This 4 day festival will have you in stitches! Both local and visiting comedians will be performing in various venues in the city in order to pack as many shows as possible into the weekend. Be sure to check out the Black Nerd Power Comedy Hour, which headlines the festival on Saturday night with amazing material from comedians of color from around the USA. Tickets to the show are $25, or you can buy an all-access pass for just $60, which grants you access to all the festival’s ticketed shows, including this headliner.

Opera Memphis presents its seventh annual Midtown Opera Festival at the Playhouse on the Square this April! This year’s festival will feature The Falling and the Rising, a contemporary American opera, which will be opened with an Opera Prelude Talk exploring the story, characters, and music of the show. Beyond this, you can check out many “Festival Fringe Events”, which features shows such as a performance by the Memphis Symphony Orchestra, Mozart’s classic The Magic Flute, and an aerial performance set to opera classics.
