Join in on this amazing experience as artists from across America put their art on display for you to enjoy! This non-profit event is a must see if you’re visiting the Memphis, Tennessee area. According to the event's website, the mission of this festival “is to cultivate, promote, encourage and develop public appreciation and support of the visual and performing arts for the benefit, education and enjoyment of the citizens of Memphis and the surrounding communities in the Mid-South”. What better place to achieve such a goal than the artistically rich city of Memphis.

What to Expect:

This opportunity is showcasing the work of over 190 “gallery-quality” artists. Their works will be on display in the off-site Askew Nixon Ferguson Architect Gallery. Along with this visual display of art, over 30 performing artists will perform different acts across three different stages. Other street performers along with craft artists will be showcased, as well. Even the food will have an artistic touch as different culinary dishes will be offered in two cafeterias.

When and Where:

This year’s River Arts Festival will be hosted in Memphis’ South Main Arts District.  This is a short quick 20 minute drive from Galleria Inn & Suites Bartlett Hotel. The River Arts Festival is welcome to all ages to attend and learn more about American-born artists. To ensure everyone can enjoy what this event has to hold, the festival will run for three days. Come check it out from October 27th, 28th, and 29th 2017.
